Editorial responsibility for everything published here rests with Eric Ebert, founder of lovlov. Every piece is checked against its sources, settled in its final wording, and approved before it goes out.

Every article carries a box that shows how it was made

Every article carries a box headed “Editorial process.” It names who wrote the piece, what it rests on, and when it was published and last reviewed. Nothing on this page has to be taken on trust: what we say here about our work, you can check on the article in front of you.

Stories are fictional rebuilds of patterns that repeat

Our stories are composites, and no real person stands behind any of them. They begin with patterns that come back again and again in what people write publicly about their own relationships. We look for what repeats across many accounts rather than what happened to one person, then rebuild that pattern with AI in a different setting, with different details and a different life around it.

The rebuilding is the protection: nobody who wrote something publicly can be recognised in what we publish. A story is not a report about anyone, and it does not carry sources inside the narrative. Where something factual belongs in a story, it links to the reference article that carries the source.

Reference articles carry their evidence at the sentence

Reference articles carry Eric Ebert's name, and each factual claim carries its source at the sentence: the study, not a school of thought. Figures are taken from the original publication and stated at that level.

We work from peer-reviewed research. Sources are named with author and year so you can go and read them, and where several exist we cite the strongest form the question allows: a meta-analysis rather than a single study.

AI does part of the work and none of the deciding

AI helps gather and synthesise material, draft, restructure and edit language. It does not decide what is true, what is published, or how something finally reads. Those decisions are made by Eric Ebert, who chooses the material, verifies factual claims and figures against their sources, and sets the wording.

Publication and review dates stay visible on every article

Every article shows when it was published and when it was last reviewed, and this page shows when it last changed. A substantive edit sends the piece back through the safety check and moves its date; if it changes what the piece claims as fact, the sources are checked again first. Material changes to this page are listed at the bottom.

Corrections are made in the open

If you think something here is wrong, write to hello@lovlov.co. We read it, and where we got something wrong we correct the piece and note what changed.
